EzPraxis collects e-signatures on intake and consent forms, notes and other documents, without paper. People sign in the office or from the client portal.
What you can do
- Sign three ways: draw a signature, type it in one of four fonts, or confirm electronically.
- Save a preferred signature for next time.
- Collect signatures from clients, from legal guardians signing on a client’s behalf, and from clinicians, supervisors and staff.
- Email clients when a document is waiting for their signature, and notify guardians by email.
- Add signature fields to any template you build.
What EzPraxis records
Each signature records who signed, their credentials, the date and time, and the IP address.
Good to know
- When a practice setting allows it, the signing date can be edited.
- Whether an electronic signature meets a particular legal requirement is a question for your own counsel.
